Who are we?

Ringmaster, a joint venture between Reply and the IGT group, was created to develop products and solutions for the world of iLotteries and gaming. Provides technical and industry expertise to create multi-platform, multi-channel, multi-user software solutions.

Ringmaster together with IGT provides products and services to regulated public and commercial gaming operators in multiple countries on all continents.

We work in an international environment with colleagues from all over the world!

We work with cutting-edge technologies (microservices, cloud) and our goal is to experiment and find the best solutions in line with the most recent market trends.

Your objective will be:

• Design and develop scalable and resilient applications based on microservice architectures in multiple integration areas (multi-channel solutions, fully responsive web applications, mobile applications, highly complex backend systems)
• Design and develop solutions in collaboration with the team, following and defining development processes (such as TDD, BDD, code reviews, DevOps guidelines)
• Producing high-quality software that satisfies both functional and non-functional requirements
• Guide and be a reference for less experienced software engineers
• Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from planning to implementation and testing (analysis, design, development, testing and QA, release management, and CI/CD).

• In-depth knowledge and at least two years of experience developing enterprise applications using the Java programming language
• Knowledge and experience of the main development frameworks, such as Spring/Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate
• Knowledge and experience of version control tools (GIT or SVN)
• Knowledge of the CI/CD process with Maven and Jenkins
• Knowledge of the Quality Assurance process of the software and the tools involved (unit tests, integration tests and performance tests)
• In-depth knowledge of the SQL language
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming
• Knowledge of web technologies and protocols
• In-depth knowledge of design patterns used for both Java and microservices architectures (design phase)
• Solid knowledge of software engineering principles, algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented design
• Be confident with Agile development environments and practices
• Knowledge of container orchestration platforms, such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Capacity to interact directly with the customer and work in a team
• Knowledge of development, continuous deployment and testing best practices
• Good communication skills problem solving and analysis of medium-high complexity technical problems
• Good knowledge of the English language

• A solid academic background with a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or mathematics
• At least two years of experience in enterprise application development
• A person who knows how to work in a team, especially in an international team
• A curious person who wants to increase their knowledge every day

Your objective will be:

• Design and implement scalable, resilient and automated infrastructures using DevOps principles
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement DevOps solutions, adhering to established processes and guidelines
• Ensure delivery of reliable, high-quality software actively participating in discussions on both functional and non-functional requirements

• Knowledge of DevOps practices for enterprise-level infrastructures
• Familiarity with leading DevOps tools and frameworks, such as Docker, Kubernetes and Ansible.
• Proficiency in version control tools, such as GIT and SVN
• Understanding and implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes, using tools such as Jenkins and Maven
• In-depth knowledge of scripting languages and automation tools for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management
• Familiarity with web technologies and protocols
• Understanding of cloud-based concepts, including key principles, technologies, and methodologies for effective deployment and management across diverse environments
• Knowledge of the main Application Servers on the market (e.g. Weblogic and Jboss), including their main features, functionality and and implementation considerations
• Basic knowledge of DBMS, fundamental concepts and database management

• A solid academic background with a bachelor's or master's degree in computer engineering, information technology, electrical engineering or mathematics
• Knowing how to work in a team, especially within international contexts
• A proactive individual, committed to continuous learning, with the desire to expand his knowledge daily, particularly in DevOps methodologies and tools
• Both junior and senior roles are considered, encompassing different levels of experience and expertise
